    DO NOT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Welcome to Peppino's, a warm inviting atmosphere where you will be served great food by a nice old Italian man and his son. It is a true father and son business. The place is always amazingly clean and the service is fast and professional. There is no Italian food in the mahopac/somers area that can compare to it. The place never fails and the father and son are both very talkative and genuinely nice people. There is a large eating area and a good amount of drinks to choose from.

    If you're looking for "service with a smile", this is not the place for you.  If you're looking for great pizza (the best in Mahopac in my opinion) then Peppino's is your go-to restaurant.  I've ordered pizza by the slice as well as by the pie, and I've never been disappointed.  Sure, not the friendliest bunch, but I'm not going there for greetings and conversation, I'm there for food!  So as long as the pizza remains delicious, they'll keep my business!

    Don't listen to the reviewers who complain about the attitude of the people working there because they're way off. Not everybody goes through their day with a cheesy smile on their face (pun intended). never had a bad slice or experience at this place. Pizza is consistently awesome. Service is fast. Price is fair. I don't know the kids name behind the counter but he's the son of the owner or maybe they own it together idk. Give him a friggin break. Imagine you had to work next to a hot oven with your father everyday. Kid deserves a metal. To give the business a poor review because he didn't kiss your butt because u bought a pie is not fair. Give this place a try. You will Be back.

    This place has horrible people working there. The food is generally good, but the men working behind the counter are awful. They give all the customers the old stink face. Very cranky and rude if you ask any questions about their food. It is not friendly at all. Never again. No more. You can get pizza anywhere, but they have been rude to me and my wife for the last time.

    Best pizza I have had in upstate New York! Delicious crust, cheese, and sauce. And perfect amount of oil!
